Wee-Ones~ Offered Tuesdays & Thursdays from 8:30-12:30 or 8:30 – 2:00
The Wee-Ones Program is designed from children ages 6 months to 2.5 years of age. This class is taught by Shayne Hodgkin, who is trained in both Waldorf Early Childhood Education and R.I.E. (Research for Infant Educarers) Training, which focuses on children ages 0-3 years.
Shayne has years of experience working with children ages birth to three and has taught a class of two-year-olds and participated in a class of one-year-old children. Shayne has a deep understanding of the curriculum for the young child, ages birth to three years, and created an enriching and nurturing Waldorf Wee-Ones Program.
The Wee-Ones program focuses on nature, movement, balance, warmth, touch, exploration, nutrition, sleep hygiene, social skills, language skills, using words to express oneself, taking steps toward self-sufficiency, exploration, community meals, and beginning steps toward gaining emotional sturdiness away from their parent/guardian. Please note that the children will experience a variety of weather while spending time outdoors.
Our Wee-Ones attend just 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) and are usually picked-up after lunch at noon, which is $650/month with a one-time $50 enrollment fee and an annual $100 snack, art supply, and material fee.
